Today we went to Disney on Ice. The show was great. But, well, they really shouldn't have had intermission. I think the kids would have been fine if they wouldn't have stopped. The kids got bored and were driving us nuts the rest of the show. They were really loving the first half though. Let's just say that we won't be taking them to anything like that again for AT LEAST a year. That was rediculous! They got some great toys we got suckered in to buying though :PMy fellow MoM Heather and her Hubby with their twins that are just a few days younger than ours were there as well. Seems like the halfway point did it in for them too. We probably should have left at intermission because we may have left in good moods then. Oh well, maybe next year.
We were all going to go meet for lunch after, but that got cancelled due to the kiddos meltdowns during the show. I'm sure lunch would have been a disaster! We came home and the meltdowns were even worse. So we fed them lunch and put their butts to bed. Kd slept for 2 hours and we're having to wake Ky up now because she's been asleep for 3 hours. It's getting late and we kind of want them to sleep tonight ;)
We got a couple of pics, sure wish Clint hadn't chopped my head off in the one with me and Kd. That was the best smile he had all day!
Hopefully next time the kiddos will enjoy the whole show. Overall we had a good time though.
